
The
League of Schools sponsored the Idaho Standards Achievement Testing conference
on October 3, 2002. The conference was held in Pocatello, Idaho, at Century
High School. There were 540 attendees to the conference and the participants
received training on:
- Understanding
the RIT scale, score, and percentile rankings.
- Understanding
score ranges and goal scores.
- Reading
and interpreting different reports.
- Learned
a variety of ways to disaggregate student data.
- Learned
to use data to focus instruction.
- Learned
the NWEA Learning Continuum and Lexile to focus instruction.
- Learned
how to use data for program and school improvement.
- Learned
how to set class and individual student goals.
- Learned
how to communicate information to students and parents.
- Began
development of an action plan.
